Flange Open End Full Hex Blind Rivet Nuts provide a strong, captivated thread in thin panels. They’re ideal for applications where only one side of the panel is accessible, such as box or tube sections. These rivet nuts can be installed into panels as thin as 0.5mm. Unlike self-clinching nuts, they don’t have maximum hardness limitations, making them suitable for hard or non-ductile panels. Special tooling is required for installation, ranging from low-cost hand tools for low volumes to air-powered automatic riveting guns for high-volume applications.
